How to Manage Your Subscription and Billing

Manage your MyDentalPractice plan, payment methods, and subscription invoices from the billing settings.

Viewing Your Current Plan

Go to Settings → Billing → Subscription to see:

  • Your current plan (Starter, Professional, or Enterprise)
  • Monthly or annual billing cycle
  • Next payment date and amount
  • Feature limits (users, storage, SMS credits)
  • Current usage vs. limits
  • Upgrading Your Plan

  • Go to Settings → Billing → Subscription
  • Click Upgrade Plan
  • Compare available plans and their features
  • Select the new plan
  • If upgrading mid-cycle, you are charged a prorated amount
  • New features are available immediately
  • Downgrading Your Plan

  • Click Change Plan
  • Select a lower-tier plan
  • Review what features you will lose
  • Confirm the downgrade
  • The change takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle
  • Ensure you are within the new plan's limits (users, storage) before downgrading
  • Updating Payment Method

  • Go to Settings → Billing → Payment Method
  • Click Update Payment Method
  • Enter your new card details
  • Click Save
  • Supported payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, and Verve cards via Paystack.

    Subscription Invoices

    Download invoices for your subscription payments:

  • Go to Settings → Billing → Invoice History
  • View all past subscription payments
  • Click Download on any invoice to get a PDF
  • Invoices include your clinic name, plan details, and payment amount
  • Cancelling Your Subscription

  • Go to Settings → Billing → Subscription
  • Click Cancel Subscription
  • Select a cancellation reason
  • Review what happens after cancellation:
  • - Access continues until the end of the billing period

    - Data is retained for 30 days

    - You can reactivate anytime within 30 days

  • Confirm cancellation
  • Addon Purchases

    Purchase additional resources:

  • Extra SMS Credits — Buy in bundles of 500
  • Extra Storage — Add 10 GB blocks
  • Additional Users — Add seats beyond your plan limit
  • Manage addons at Settings → Billing → Addons.
