How to Invite Staff Members

Bring your team onto MyDentalPractice by sending email invitations. New members create their accounts through the invitation link.

Sending an Invitation

  • Go to Settings → Team Members
  • Click + Invite Member
  • Enter the details:
  • - Email Address — The new member's email

    - Full Name — Their display name

    - Role — Select the appropriate role (see User Management for role details)

    - Welcome Message — Optional personal message included in the invitation email

  • Click Send Invitation
  • What the New Member Receives

    The invitee receives an email containing:

  • Your clinic name and logo
  • Your personal welcome message (if provided)
  • A Join Clinic button linking to the registration page
  • The invitation expires after 7 days
  • New Member Onboarding

    When the invitee clicks the link:

  • They create a password for their account
  • They complete their personal profile (name, phone)
  • They are guided through a brief orientation of the platform
  • They land on the dashboard with their role-appropriate view
  • Managing Pending Invitations

    View pending invitations at Settings → Team Members → Pending:

  • See who has not yet accepted
  • Resend — Send the invitation email again
  • Revoke — Cancel the invitation before it is accepted
  • Invitation Limits

    PlanTeam Members
    StarterUp to 3
    ProfessionalUp to 10
    EnterpriseUnlimited

    If you have reached your plan limit, you will need to upgrade or remove an existing member before inviting new ones.

    Best Practices

  • Send invitations during business hours so new members see them promptly
  • Include a welcome message with context about their role
  • Prepare their schedule and permissions before they join
  • Schedule a brief onboarding session to walk through the platform
