About This Role

We're looking for a Go To Market Operator to accelerate MyDentalPractice's growth across Nigeria and West Africa. This is a hands-on, strategic role where you'll own the full GTM motion—from identifying target markets and building outreach campaigns to closing deals and optimizing our sales funnel.

You'll be our first dedicated GTM hire, working directly with the founders to establish scalable processes for acquiring dental clinic customers. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves building from scratch, and wants to make a significant impact on healthcare technology adoption in Africa.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new markets and segments
  • Build and manage outbound sales campaigns (email, LinkedIn, phone)
  • Identify and qualify leads from dental clinics, hospital dental departments, and dental chains
  • Conduct product demos and close deals with clinic owners and administrators
  • Analyze market data to identify high-potential regions and customer segments
  • Create sales collateral, pitch decks, and case studies
  • Build partnerships with dental associations, suppliers, and training institutions
  • Track and optimize key metrics: CAC, conversion rates, sales cycle length
  • Hire and mentor junior sales team members as we scale

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years in B2B sales, business development, or growth roles
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience selling SaaS products to SMBs
  • Strong understanding of sales funnels and CRM tools (HubSpot, Pipedrive, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort with cold outreach and rejection
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze and act on metrics
  • Willingness to travel within Nigeria and West Africa
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work autonomously

Nice to Have

  • Experience in healthcare or dental industry
  • Existing network of contacts in Nigerian healthcare
  • Background in startup environments
  • Experience with marketing automation tools
  • Knowledge of the Ghana market
  • MBA or business degree
